“Several people are still stuck under the rubble”
Calling it a security lapse, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Muhammad Ijaz Khan said, “The roof of the mosque collapsed after the blast and several people are still stuck under there. Rescue teams are trying to pill them out”
“It would be too soon to comment on ‘who did this’ as the investigation is not completed yet”, he further added. The dead bodies and the wounded have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in Peshawar.
However, no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
