Shahrah-e-Faisal: A group of terrorists stormed into Karachi’s Police Office at Shahrah-e-Faisal on Friday evening. The authorities have declared an Emergency in various parts of the city while all major hospitals are on high alert.

Sources reveal that the attackers threw hand grenades initially to make their way into the head office and started firing indiscriminately which shook the residents of the surrounding area. As of now, reports of two police officials being injured in the gunfire.

CM Sindh’s take on the attack
On the matter, the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that this attack on our police force is not acceptable. “The attack on the Karachi Police Chief’s office is not acceptable in any case. I want a report of the incident from the officer concerned”.
About eight to ten terrorists are still inside the building with heavy artillery with two terrorists being reported dead. The SSU commandos and Rangers officials are conducting a joint operation and the electricity to the building has also been cut off.
