NED University, one of Pakistan’s leading educational institutions, is set to build the country’s largest gaming and animation center called the Center of Excellence in Gaming and Animation (CEGA), with an estimated cost of PKR 2.5 billion. This initiative is aimed at promoting the gaming and animation industry in Pakistan and is expected to provide employment opportunities to thousands of young Pakistanis.

The gaming and animation industry has experienced a significant boom in recent years, with Pakistan’s talented youth contributing immensely to the global market. The new center is designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities for game development, animation, and visual effects.
The project will feature a range of amenities including high-end computers, motion capture equipment, virtual reality systems, and sound recording studios. This will provide aspiring game developers and animators with the tools and resources necessary to create high-quality products that meet international standards.
