Nokia has announced its plan to establish a 4G LTE internet connection on the moon later this year.
The company is collaborating with SpaceX and NASA on this ambitious project, which aims to provide a reliable communication infrastructure for lunar landers, rovers, and habitats. The network will also support HD video streaming and other activities.
The system will be powered by a solar-powered rover and a ground station equipped with an antenna, housed in the Nova-C lunar lander built by Intuitive Machines.
