Pakistan’s brilliant performance
Batting first, Pakistan set a formidable target of 353 runs for India to chase. Amid the pressure, it was the heroics of Saif Badar Tahir that turned the tide in Pakistan’s favor. Tahir took the attack to the Indian bowlers and played a breathtaking knock of 108 runs off just 71 balls, including 12 fours and four sixes. His explosive innings propelled Pakistan to a commanding total, and his incredible strike rate of 152.11 left the Indian side stunned.
India’s shattered hope
Tahir found an able partner in Mubasir Khan, and the duo stitched together a crucial 126-run partnership for the sixth wicket, further denting India’s hopes of a comeback. Mubasir’s contribution of 35 runs played a significant role in taking Pakistan to an imposing total.
