Pakistan’s First EV Manufacturer Set To Launch Compact Electric SUV In 2025

Pakistan’s automotive landscape is on the brink of a revolutionary transformation as the nation’s first-ever electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer sets its sights on introducing a compact electric SUV by 2025.

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) recently paid a visit to a local Research and Development (R&D) center operated by a pioneering car company, sparking discussions that promise to elevate the quality and capabilities of domestically produced automobiles.

A major shift in the market?

The visionary automaker is geared towards reshaping the local market with its innovative approach. Their ambitious plan encompasses the development and launch of a compact electric SUV, signaling a paradigm shift in Pakistan’s automotive industry.

Notably, the company has already showcased its prowess by unveiling a test version of an electric hatchback named Nur-E 75. This impressive prototype boasts a robust electric powertrain enabling it to cover approximately 200 kilometers on a single charge.
