‘Chandrayaan-3’ touches the moon
As the world held its breath, India’s spacecraft, named Chandrayaan-3, achieved an extraordinary milestone by successfully touching down near the moon’s south pole. This historic achievement makes India the first country to accomplish such a feat.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that the triumph of this mission belongs to all of humanity. Chandrayaan-3, affectionately dubbed “Mooncraft” in Sanskrit, soared into space from Sriharikota’s launchpad on July 14th.
