Pakistan’s fast bowler, Haris Rauf, faced a disappointing setback during the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 clash against arch-rivals India in Colombo.
PCB confirms Rauf’s injury
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently confirmed that Rauf would no longer be taking part in the match as a bowler, citing precautionary measures. Rauf’s untimely withdrawal was prompted by discomfort in his right flank, an issue that arose during the previous day’s game.
In response to this concerning development, the PCB promptly arranged a precautionary MRI scan to assess the extent of the injury. Thankfully, the scan revealed no tears, providing a sigh of relief for Rauf and his fans.
