Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam has etched his name in cricketing history by becoming the fastest batsman to reach the remarkable milestone of 10,000 T20 runs. The skipper of Peshawar Zalmi achieved this feat during his spectacular innings against Karachi Kings on Wednesday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

An epic journey of 271 innings

Babar’s remarkable accomplishment came in just 271 innings, outpacing the previous record held by the legendary West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle who took 285 innings to reach the 10,000-run mark. Following closely behind is Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli who achieved this milestone in 299 innings.
