In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a 12-year-old boy from Raiwind City tragically ended his life after his mother refused to grant his request for a mobile phone. The incident, confirmed by local authorities, sheds light on the growing concerns surrounding children’s mental health and access to technology.

According to Lahore police officials, the young boy, identified as Ayyan, pleaded with his mother for the device, only to be met with a denial. In a desperate act, he took matters into his own hands. His mother, unaware of his intentions, left for a neighbor’s house, unaware of the turmoil brewing in her home.

Upon her return, she was met with a harrowing sight — her beloved son’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. Ayyan had reportedly taken his own life by fashioning a makeshift noose from a rope tied to a bamboo structure on the wall.

This heartbreaking event echoes another recent tragedy in Lahore. A 33-year-old female doctor, Bushra Suhail, allegedly succumbed to suicide following a heated argument with her mother.
