Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has reignited calls for a return to Test cricket between India and Pakistan. In a statement on Thursday, Sharma expressed his eagerness to face their arch-rivals in the five-day format.
“I would love to (play against Pakistan),” Sharma declared. “It would be a great contest between two sides. We anyway play them in ICC tournaments. So why not?”
