An El Al flight traveling from Warsaw to Tel Aviv faced an unexpected delay on Sunday. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Antalya Airport in Turkey to disembark a passenger requiring urgent medical attention.
However, upon landing, the El Al aircraft encountered another hurdle. According to the Israeli airline, Turkish airport workers refused to refuel the plane despite the medical emergency. El Al confirmed in a statement that the passenger was successfully evacuated, but refueling was denied.

Turkish diplomatic sources offered a contrasting explanation. They stated that while refueling was planned for humanitarian reasons, the captain of the El Al flight chose to depart Antalya Airport before the process could be completed.
