Source: Clarion India

In a troubling incident in Panna City, Madhya Pradesh, India, a Muslim man’s blood donation for a critically ill Hindu woman was refused by a doctor at a government hospital. The incident came to light through a video that surfaced on social media on September 8, showing the doctor objecting to the Muslim donor, stating, “Muslim blood cannot be given to a Hindu patient.”

The case unfolded when Pawan Sonkar brought his mother to the hospital for urgent treatment. After being told she needed an immediate blood transfusion, Sonkar arranged for his Muslim friend to donate blood. However, the doctor refused, citing religious concerns, and stated that it could lead to trouble for the hospital.
