In bizarre news, Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have uncovered a disturbing new trend where terrorists have been using the popular video game PUBG to coordinate their activities.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Dr. Zahidullah, this is the first time such a method has been used for terrorism-related communication. Terrorists were utilizing PUBG’s in-game chat features to exchange information and strategize within chat groups.

This revelation followed the arrest of three terrorists by Swat police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). Who were involved in an attack on the Banr police station on August 28. The attack resulted in the death of a police officer and injuries to two others.

The arrested individuals, identified as Mohammad Haris, Burhanullah, and Shahzad, all from Swat, were found to be using PUBG to communicate with other militants.

During the investigation, police discovered the chat history from PUBG on the terrorists’ mobile phones. Which revealed that three to four militants had been using the game for covert communication. The lack of monitoring in PUBG chats allowed them to evade detection while planning their attacks.

DPO Swat emphasized that local police are fully equipped to handle such challenges. And are committed to maintaining peace in the region.
