Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta, popular judges on Shark Tank India, recently discussed their observations about the Pakistani edition of the show during a conversation with influencer Sharan Hegde.
Gupta admitted to only watching clips of Shark Tank Pakistan but found some moments intriguing and unconventional. One instance, where a contestant requested PKR 300 crore for 3% equity, stood out as particularly unrealistic. Both judges humorously critiqued the staggering valuation while acknowledging its viral appeal.
Mittal, however, took a broader perspective, emphasizing the critical role of economic development in Pakistan for regional stability. He noted that economic stagnation in neighboring countries could have ripple effects across the region, including India.

He further highlighted the potential of platforms like Shark Tank Pakistan in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the country. According to Mittal, such initiatives could serve as a driving force for economic growth, inspiring creativity and productivity in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial sector.
While critical of certain aspects of the show, both judges expressed hope that Shark Tank Pakistan could play a meaningful role in shaping a more vibrant and innovative business ecosystem in the country.
