Pakistan Set To Launch Its First-Ever Tourist Glass Train In 2025

In a groundbreaking move to boost tourism, Pakistan is set to launch its first-ever tourist glass train. The project, which promises to offer a unique and scenic travel experience, is currently in the planning stages.

According to reports, the feasibility study for the first phase of the project is being conducted by the National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak), with completion expected by April 30, 2025.

The initial phase of the project will involve the construction of a 55-kilometre railway track. The track will connect Islamabad’s Margalla Railway Station to various picturesque locations, including Bhara Kahu, Phurwaha Mor, Ghora Gali, Jhika Gali, and the hill station of Bhurban.

The glass train will provide travelers with breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful landscapes, mountains, and valleys along the route.

Once operational, the tourist glass train is expected to become a major attraction for both local and international tourists. It will not only enhance the tourism industry in the region but also offer a luxurious and comfortable travel option, with a focus on scenic beauty.
