After being one of the most controversial topics in Pakistan for the past few months, PCB Chairman has finally chosen the perfect candidate for the post of the chief selector.
Najam Sethi appoints new chief selector for Pakistan
According to the official reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi earlier this week announced Haroon Rasheed who was the member of the interim selection committee as the next chief selector for the Pakistan cricket team.
Apparently, Najam Sethi along with the PCB management made the announcement during a live press conference. Previously, social media was filled with rumors regarding former speedster Shoaib Akhtar that he was likely to become the new chief selector but it wasn’t true after all.
Hopefully, the new appointment will prove to be a positive change in Pakistan cricket.
