President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter, Aseefa Bhutto is set to enter the political arena by contesting the by-election from the National Assembly Constituency NA-207, Nawabshah.
This development comes after PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari vacated the NA-207 seat upon assuming the presidency for the second time in history.
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the decision to field Aseefa Bhutto as the PPP candidate for the by-polls on the NA-207 seat was made after consultations within the family.

Initially, there were speculations that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari would contest from NA-196, a constituency left vacant by her brother, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. However, the party opted for NA-207 for her candidacy.
