In Karachi, a self-proclaimed atheist named Inshal Yousuf embraced Islam during a lecture by renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik. The transformation occurred during a Q&A session where Inshal openly discussed his spiritual struggles.
Dr. Naik, listening carefully, inquired when Inshal had last performed Namaz (prayer). Inshal responded that it had been “a few months ago.” Dr. Naik then suggested, “I don’t see you as an atheist, but rather as a non-practicing Muslim. You might be a good Muslim, and I just don’t know you yet.”
Moved by the scholar’s insight and supportive words, Inshal expressed his wish to recite the Shahada (the declaration of faith) and formally embrace Islam. His public declaration of faith received an emotional response from the audience, who witnessed the heartfelt moment.
