Ayesha Chundrigar’s ACF Animal Rescue Transforms Lives of Donkeys In Pakistan

Source: Google

In a remarkable effort to improve the lives of donkeys and their owners in Pakistan, Ayesha Chundrigar and her team at ACF Animal Rescue have made significant strides. Over 20,000 donkeys have been rescued and treated, and more than 500 donkey owners have been empowered to increase their daily earnings from Rs 150 to Rs 1200.

Donkeys, which play a vital role as the primary mode of transport in Pakistan’s commercial sector, often suffer due to exploitation and poor care. The ACF team has disrupted this cycle by offering free medical coverage, providing model carts, and designing humane harnesses that protect the donkeys’ bodies. Moreover, they educate donkey owners on proper care techniques to ensure that the animals are healthy and able to work effectively without injury.

The impact of this initiative has been profound, both for the animals and the people who rely on them. To expand this model further and reach more communities, ACF Animal Rescue is seeking contributions of Rs 3500 towards their donkey camps, where this vital work continues.
