Bakery Worker Arrested For Posing As Doctor At Karachi’s Civil Hospital

In recent news, Karachi authorities apprehended a bakery worker, Abdullah, for impersonating a doctor at the city’s Civil Hospital Trauma Centre. Security guards grew suspicious after spotting Abdullah wandering the premises clad in a doctor’s gown. Upon verification, his credentials were revealed to be fake.

Abdullah reportedly confessed to a lifelong dream of becoming a doctor, though he lacked the required qualifications. He admitted to wearing the gown to fulfill this aspiration and even attempted to treat patients.

However, his youthful appearance and unique hairstyle drew immediate attention from security personnel. They promptly apprehended him and handed him over to the police stationed at the hospital.

This incident marks a repeat offense for Abdullah, who was caught impersonating a doctor at the same hospital three months prior. Back then, he received only a warning.

The recent incident follows a similar case from 2018, where Karachi police arrested a woman posing as a doctor at the gynecology department of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
