Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav’s property in his hometown of Shahjahanpur has been sealed by a Mumbai bank due to the non-repayment of a substantial loan.
According to reports, the Central Bank of India took this action on Wednesday after Yadav failed to repay a loan of INR 5 crore, which had ballooned to INR 11 crore over time. The property, located near the Dak bungalow, was mortgaged as collateral for the loan.
Yadav had originally taken a loan from the bank’s Bandra Kurla Complex branch in Mumbai to establish a production house, ‘Navrang Godavari Entertainment Limited,’ named after his parents. Despite attempts to reach him for comment, Yadav declined to speak on the matter.
