US-Pakistani businessman Ali Shekhani has demonstrated immense generosity by donating PKR 1.5 crores to the family of Turab, who tragically lost his life on the 2nd day of Eid-ul-Fitr. As per media reports, Turab was shot dead while resisting street robbery in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
Showing his support for the bereaved family, Ali Shekhani announced to help the family by making the donation via JDC’s Zafar Abbas. This generous contribution aims to support the family in purchasing their own house, providing them with stability and comfort during this difficult time.
Ali Shekhani, a US-based Pakistani businessman, founded the Shamim Sheikhani Foundation in honor of his late mother in 2019.
The foundation has helped countless lower-income families within Fort Bend County by operating a full-service food kitchen and offering a range of other free public services, including clothing, bill assistance, financial assistance, and medical aid relief to Houston’s impoverished populations.

For four years now, the nonprofit’s “Iftar Food Drive” has distributed 50,000 boxes of food during the month of Ramadan to community members in need.This amounts to about 2,000 boxes a day.The generous donation by Ali Shekhani will help the family of Tarab purchase their own house and provide them with some financial stability during these tough times.
