From time to time, we’ve witnessed several cases of celebrities and influential personalities getting accused of not paying their staff/employees and ill-treating them. Adding to the issue, this time around, it’s the fashion brand of the celebrity sisters Aimal Khan and Minal Khan who recently responded to the “non-payment” accusations made against them by a former employee.
Aiman Minal Closet under fire for “non-payment” issues
Earlier today, Aiman Minal Closet in an Instagram post refuted all allegations and clarified that Aiman and Minal Khan themselves are not in any way involved in the brand. As per the post, Aiman Minal Closet is owned by their brother Maaz Khan and he’s the one responsible for all financial transactions.
Clarification from the brand:
“Aiman Khan and Minal Khan are NOT involved in the daily operations of the company, it’s owned by Maaz Khan; hence they cannot and should not be held responsible for any human resource related issue”, read the story.

The post further stated, “The recent allegations by certain individuals who were ex-employees of the brand are trying to malign the reputation of Aiman Khan and Minal Khan via a planned smear campaign; which will be responded legally.”
The back story
Last week, an Instagram user named Ali Hamid who claimed to be a former employee of Aiman Minal Closet accused the celebrity sisters of not paying him his six months salary amounting to PKR 180,000. The post quickly garnered massive attention from all over with many others joining in with their own claims.
Here’s what the former employee’s post read:
The accuser had worked with Aiman Minal Closet for a whole year and had seen several others employees being “treated like slaves”. Later, he had been in constant contact with the organization regarding the payment of his salary but never got it.
However, the brand has denied any association with the actors and will be conducting an internal investigation into the matter.
