Carmagheddon, a collective of car modifiers, has taken automotive creativity to new heights with its latest project. In a stunning transformation, they have cut a Fiat Panda in half and turned it into the world’s lowest functioning car that still retains its ability to steer, ride, and even drift like an ordinary street-legal vehicle.

What initially seemed like an ambitious car design project has become a remarkable reality, thanks to the ingenious minds of Cocchi Rudi, Matteo Marzetti, and Nicola Guadagnin. They documented the entire renovation and modification process in a series of captivating videos, showcasing how they tweaked the car into what appears to be a hybrid between a robot vacuum and a toy car, with the driver squeezed inside the cramped Fiat Panda.
At first glance, the “world’s lowest car” seems to effortlessly float along the cemented roads. However, the truth is that there is a driver maneuvering it from within, contorting their body and lying sideways depending on their height and size.

With what looks like a steering wheel straight out of arcade machines, the modified Fiat Panda pays homage to its over-four-decade history designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Carmagheddon’s peculiar yet entertaining reinterpretation of this iconic vehicle adds a touch of bizarre fun to its enduring legacy.
