#PakistanDay: Celebrating The Achievements Of 5 Exceptional Individuals Who Made Pakistan Proud

Pakistan Day, observed on 23rd March, commemorates the historic resolution passed in Lahore in 1940, which paved the way for the creation of Pakistan. This day symbolizes the struggles, sacrifices, and resilience of the Pakistani nation. It is a time to reflect on the achievements of the past and renew our commitment to a brighter future for Pakistan.

Speaking of a brighter future, well, who can make that happen except the young, powerful minds of the country, right? This Pakistan day we will celebrate the major achievements of some extremely creative and talented individuals who made the country and all of us proud on a global level.

Natalia Najam – World record in chemistry

Natalia Najam, an 11-year-old science enthusiast from Lahore, set a new Guinness World Records title on July 18, 2020, by arranging all elements of the periodic chart in just 2 minutes and 42 seconds. She broke the previous record by 7 seconds, which was held by an Indian economics professor Meenakshi Agarwal, who had completed the task in 2 minutes and 49 seconds. Natalia achieved this incredible feat through her remarkable efforts and dedication and we are so proud.

Emma Alam – Global speed reading champion

In 2022, Emma Alam emerged victorious at the 13th World Speed Reading Championships, surpassing over a hundred competitors from across the globe. In the finals, Emma competed against a Chinese participant and defeated her. Apart from being a world-renowned memory champion, Emma earned two titles from the Guinness World Records. In addition to her impressive achievements, she was also acknowledged as the Pride of Pakistan by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). There’s no doubt that her remarkable accomplishments have brought immense pride and honor to Pakistan.

Mohammad Rohayl Varind – World Summit Youth Award Winner

Mohammad Rohayl Varind is a renowned technology entrepreneur, innovator, and educator who has received international recognition for his achievements. He won the World Summit Youth Award in 2014-2015, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he competed with 1,898 submissions from 138 countries and impressed a panel of 40 jurors worldwide, becoming a world champion.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Rohayl has founded several welfare projects. He established Pakistan’s first and largest Solar Night School which is also the world’s first. He created Pakistan’s first phygital school and the country’s first solar school bags. His “Wall of Humanity” welfare initiative gained popularity in India and has been replicated in several Indian cities, benefiting thousands of underprivileged people. Rohayl serves as the CEO of several companies, including Best Solar (Pvt) Ltd, Phygital Pakistan, Share To Aware, and Solar X.

Rida Zainab – 10 under 2023 in activism, tech, and science

Syeda Rida Zainab, a young Pakistani woman, has made history by writing Pakistan’s national anthem, “Pak Sarzamin,” in 50 different languages. Her remarkable accomplishment highlights the unifying power of language and national pride. Rida Zainab’s efforts have contributed to promoting a positive image of Pakistan on a global scale. Furthermore, she has written a book on animal rights, becoming the first Pakistani author to do so. Rida Zainab’s passion for social causes and her achievements are truly inspiring.

Major Samia Rehman – United Nation’s SRSG certificate winner

Remember the appearance of Major Samia Rehman in the latest episode of the drama serial Sinf-e-Aahan? Well, to everyone’s surprise, she is not a professional actor but actually belongs to the force and has served as an Operational Planning Officer on a UN mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Major Samia Rehman has brought great pride to Pakistan by winning the United Nations Special Representative for Secretary-General (SRSG) Certificate for 2019. Her achievements in the international arena are truly commendable.
