In Faisalabad, a Christian woman named Samreen embraced Islam during a lecture by renowned Indian Muslim scholar Dr. Zakir Naik. Dr. Naik, who is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan, held the event that inspired this significant moment.
During the lecture, Samreen expressed her desire to convert to Islam. Dr. Naik asked her, “Do you believe in the oneness of God?” Samreen responded confidently, affirming,“Indeed, Allah is one.” He further inquired if she believed that Prophet Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah, to which she also agreed.
Samreen then recited the shahada, publicly accepting Islam in front of a large crowd. She emphasized that her decision was entirely personal and free of any external pressure. Samreen shared that she was motivated by the positive influence of the Muslim community around her.

Dr. Zakir Naik guided her through the recitation of the kalma, and the crowd responded with chants of “Allahu Akbar,” celebrating this heartfelt moment.
