Celebrating the founding day of a nation is always a special occasion, but this year’s celebration in Saudi Arabia was truly unique. This year around, the country’s football clubs invited some of the top footballers from around the world to join in the festivities and experience Saudi Arabia’s rich culture firsthand.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Neymar were among the international stars who accepted the invitation to participate in the celebration. The footballers were not just spectators but active participants in the cultural activities of the day.

The footballers were dressed in traditional Saudi attire which added to the festive atmosphere of the event. They were seen wearing the “Alqal Al-Muqassab” headgear and “Thobe Al-Muradn” robes which are traditional garments worn by Saudi men.

But the highlight of the celebration was the “Ardah” dance, which is a traditional Saudi Arabian sword dance. The dance is usually performed during special occasions and involves a group of men dancing with swords in hand. This year, the dance was performed by Benzema and his teammates who not only performed it with skill but also showed great enthusiasm and respect for the local culture.
This participation highlights the importance of cultural exchange and understanding in the world of sports. By embracing the local culture and traditions, the footballers not only showed their respect for the host nation but also demonstrated that sports have the power to bring people together.
