Former US President Donald Trump attended UFC 302 recently at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, where he vowed to end Israel’s war in Gaza. Trump received a standing ovation from the audience as fans eagerly awaited the UFC Lightweight Championship match between Dustin Poirier and Islam Makhachev.

Speaking with former Russian mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov, Trump declared, “We will stop it. I will stop the war”, in response to Nurmagomedov’s statement, “I know you will stop the war in Palestine.”The conflict, which began on October 7, has resulted in the deaths of over 37,000 in Palestine including children and women.
Trump entered the arena with UFC President Dana White and greeted comedian Theo Von on his way to his seat. The crowd welcomed him with thunderous applause, and Trump shook hands with some of the fans.

This event marked one of Trump’s first public appearances since being convicted this week of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. He pleaded guilty to all counts and criticized the trial as “a disgrace.” Trump claimed the trial was unfair and rigged, with a conflicted judge and no change of venue granted.
Trump concluded by saying, “The real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people.”
