5.6 Magnitude Earthquake Shook Peshawar, Kohat And Other Parts Of KP

Earlier today, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake severely shook various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Fortunately, all citizens of the affected areas rushed to the open streets and remained unharmed.

On Thursday, earthquake tremors were severely felt by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and other northern areas.

According to readings shared by the National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC), the epicenter of the earthquake was 237km from Chitral with a recorded depth of 190km. The Ritcher scale showed a magnitude of 5.6.

The affected areas include Peshawar, Kohat, Swat, Mahmand, Battagram, Charsadda and other parts of KP.
