The CEO of an esteemed international brand Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy LVMH, Bernard Arnault has surprisingly beaten Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk as the world’s richest person. Renault reached the top of the chart with a net worth of $207.6 billion, higher than Musk who is currently at $204.7 billion.
In the list, on third is Amazon’s founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos, with a net worth of $181.3 billion.
Success owing to the stocks
Back In 2022, Arnault gained the top position after the tech stocks witnessed a sell-off owing to weak global macroeconomic indicators. The increase in his net worth happened in January, which eventually affected the company’s overall growth as well.
Conversely, Elon Musk’s net worth fell by $18 billion. The chairman of an Indian company, Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, continued to stay on top of the list as the wealthiest Indian businessman with a net worth of $104.4 billion.

Founder and Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani ranked 16th on the list with a net worth of $75.7 billion. The Adani Group’s shares have been in focus since they came under regulatory scrutiny last year after the US-based short seller Hindenburg Research accused it of misappropriating funds and stock manipulation.
