Former Pakistani PM Imran Khan Arrested By Rangers In Al-Qadir Trust Case

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested by rangers in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, sparking a chaotic situation in Pakistan. Angry PTI workers and supporters took to the streets to protest against the arrest, leading to widespread unrest.

Rangers took the PTI Chief in custody from Islamabad High Court (IHC) where he had gone to seek bail in several FIRs registered against him. However, the arrest was later declared “illegal” by the Supreme Court, with Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial overseeing the decision.
