Abed Rahman, a dedicated cyclist from Germany, has embarked on an incredible 3,000-kilometre journey to raise funds for a healthcare center in G@za. The center, staffed by ten doctors, provides essential medical services to the war-ravaged community, treating conditions such as diabetes, cancer, and injuries from ongoing Isr@eli bombings.
Abed’s journey will take several weeks, navigating difficult terrain to raise awareness and funds. Speaking to Middle East Monitor, he expressed his belief that this challenging ride symbolizes the struggle faced by G@za’s residents.
Abed and his mother were in G@za last year when the Isr@eli offensive began, further motivating him to take action. Through this effort, he aims to ensure the continued operation of the healthcare center, which is crucial for the people of G@za, who are suffering under severe conditions with limited access to food, clean water, and medicine.
