A German startup, Tomorrow Bio, is pioneering the field of cryopreservation in Europe, offering a unique service to freeze human bodies in liquid nitrogen with the hope of future revival. Launched in 2020, the company has already attracted over 650 customers, despite the hefty price tag of $220,000 for full-body preservation or $81,000 for brain-only preservation.
The cryopreservation process begins immediately after a person’s death. A specialized ambulance team cools the body to -80°C and replaces bodily fluids with cryoprotectant agents to prevent ice crystal formation. The body is then stored long-term in a Swiss facility at an ultra-cold temperature of -196°C.

So far, Tomorrow Bio has cryopreserved six people and five pets, with plans to expand its services to the U.S. by 2025. The company offers a glimmer of hope for life extension, banking on the possibility that future advancements in science and technology will one day allow the revival of those who have opted for this futuristic form of preservation.
Would you invest $220,000 in the hope of being brought back to life in the future?
