The dynamic fast bowler from Pakistan and Lahore Qalandars’ prized asset, Haris Rauf has been dealt a significant blow as he’s ruled out for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 due to a dislocated shoulder. This unfortunate incident occurred during last night’s gripping match against the Karachi Kings where Rauf exhibited his prowess both with the ball and in the field.
The crucial KK vs LQ clash
In the 20th over of the match, Haris Rauf landed awkwardly on his shoulder while completing a sensational catch to dismiss Hasan Ali. Despite the evident pain, Rauf showed immense grit as he walked off the field with his arm strapped, later undergoing scans to assess the extent of the injury.
His exceptional performance earlier in the match saw him bowl a remarkably economical spell, conceding only 22 runs and claiming a crucial wicket. However, the medical panel’s verdict necessitates a recovery period of four to six weeks, meaning Rauf will play no further part in the current PSL season.
