Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed that the current Pakistani government will not last more than four to five months. He made the statement after a hearing of a £190 million corruption reference at Adiala Jail, where he is currently incarcerated.

Is the fall of Pakistani government really inevitable?

Imran Khan believes that the fall of the current government will pave the way for his release from Adiala Jail. He claimed that the proceedings against him were a mere formality and that a decision had already been made in his case.

The PTI founder dismissed the charges against him, stating that the case was baseless and that no criminality was involved. He claimed that the exchequer did not suffer any loss as the government held the amount transferred from the UK. Khan further added that the seller was Hassan Nawaz Sharif, who had bought the property for Rs.9 billion and sold it for Rs.18 billion.

Moreover, he stated that Hassan Nawaz should be asked to provide the money trail. ImranKhan also criticized Pakistan’s current state of affairs, claiming that everything was being manipulated. He alleged that the ECP, the caretaker government and the establishment were all in cahoots.

The PTI founder also expressed concerns about the souring of Pakistan’s ties with Iran and Afghanistan. He believes that such decisions will lead to an increase in terrorism in the region.

In other news, the judicial magistrate of Barakahu, Suhaib Bilal Ranjha, acquitted Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others. The case is related to inciting protesters to violence on May 26, 2022, during a march organized against PDM government.

The acquittal came after the prosecution failed to produce any tangible evidence that could connect the suspects with the crime. However, it remains to be seen whether his prediction carries weight or not, but it is clear that Imran Khan still remains a major figure in Pakistan’s political scene.
