Imran Khan Refuses Lie-Detector Test in May 9 Riot Investigation

Former Prime Minister and PTI leader Imran Khan refused to undergo a lie-detector test today in Adiala Jail. This test was part of the investigation into the May 9 riots in Lahore.

A 12-member team from Lahore Police, led by DSP Javed Asif, arrived at the Rawalpindi prison to conduct polygraph, voice matching, and photogrammetry tests. Despite initial refusals, Khan agreed to answer questions for 15 minutes but declined the tests.

Khan had previously refused to meet investigators without his lawyers. The anti-terrorism court in Lahore extended his physical remand until July 25. Additionally, Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, face extended remand in the Toshakhana case. Khan faces 12 legal cases, with nine under investigation by Lahore Police.
