Jinnah House Attack: Imran Khan’s Nephew Hassan Niazi Handed Over To Military For Trial

Hassan Khan Niazi, a prominent figure within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the nephew of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been transferred to military custody for trial, as confirmed by the police on Saturday. The legal proceedings pertain to his alleged involvement in the assault on Jinnah House on May 9.

The Punjab Police had formally requested the Quetta police to release Niazi, who was wanted for his role in the May 9 attack on Jinnah House. Subsequently, his arrest transpired late on Sunday, August 13, in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
