Meet Irfan Mehsood — First Pakistani To Hold 100 Guinness World Records In Fitness

Irfan Mehsood, a Pakistani athlete, has made history by breaking 100 Guinness World Records in less than eight years. He became the first Pakistani to achieve this remarkable feat, surpassing Italy’s Marcello Ferri’s record. Mehsood has excelled in various fitness categories with 46 world records in push-ups alone.

One hundred world records and counting!

Irfan Mehsood’s latest record involves lifting 63 kg with his toes, breaking the previous mark of 56 kg. He has broken records from 16 countries, including America, India, China and his homeland, Pakistan. Mehsood’s dedication to fitness and unrelenting pursuit of excellence have earned him recognition, including the Presidential Award for Good Performance in 2023.

Mehsood’s impressive list of records also includes the most push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, step-ups, and knee strikes. His recent accomplishments include three more feats: the most push-ups with fingertips while carrying a 60 lb pack in one minute, the most step-ups in one minute with a 100 lb pack and the longest duration in a reverse abdominal plank position with a 100 lb pack.

Mehsood expressed his delight over this remarkable achievement and stated, “I have registered the most number of records in the push-ups category with 30 records. Similarly, I have recorded the most Guinness Records in the fitness category.”
