A little over a year ago, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched the James Webb Space Telescope and it has been making amazing discoveries since then.

A new home for Earth people?

Recent reports tell that the James Webb Telescope has for the first time made an unrealistic discovery of a planet that looks exactly the same as our home planet Earth. Such a planet is commonly known as an exoplanet meaning a planet that orbits another star.

The newly discovered planet is named LHS 475b and is located 41 light-years away in the Octans constellation. It was further revealed that the LHS 475b seems to be a rocky, small planet just about the same size as Earth and is a few hundred degrees hotter than our planet.

As of now, NASA’s team is gathering more details about the new ‘Earth-like’ planet and will make it public in the coming months.
