Japan Reveals Futuristic Human Washing Machine for Quick Hygiene and Relaxation

Source: Times of India

Japan has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation, the AI-powered’ Mirai Ningen Sentakuk’ or “Future Human Washing Machine,” capable of cleaning and drying users in just 15 minutes. Developed by Japanese company Science Co., the machine promises a spa-like experience, combining advanced hygiene technology with mental relaxation.

The user steps into a transparent pod, which fills with warm water. High-speed jets release microscopic air bubbles that burst on contact with the skin, effectively removing dirt and impurities. The AI system personalizes the wash cycle based on individual skin type and physical metrics, ensuring comfort by adjusting water pressure and temperature. Additionally, the machine analyzes emotional states, projecting calming visuals within the pod to enhance mental well-being.

The concept draws inspiration from a 1970s prototype by Sanyo Electric, reimagined for modern needs. The advanced device will debut at the Osaka Expo 2025, where 1,000 attendees can experience it firsthand. Following this showcase, the machine will enter mass production, with plans to introduce a home-use edition.
