Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are ending their marriage after just two years. Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to court documents.
The couple, known as “Bennifer,” married in a small Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, followed by a larger celebration in Georgia the next month. Their romance began in 2002 while filming Gigli, but they split in early 2004 before rekindling their relationship nearly two decades later.
Lopez, 55, who had legally changed her last name to Affleck, did not mention a prenuptial agreement in her filing. The court documents require both parties to share detailed financial information, including income, expenses, and property details. They have 60 days to submit their financial disclosures.

Speculation about their relationship had been rife, with reports of them selling their Beverly Hills mansion and appearing separately. Affleck, 52, was previously married to Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has been married four times, including to Marc Anthony and Ojani Noa.
