Biden said, “It is in the best interest of my party and the country.” His decision comes as Democrats lose faith in his ability to defeat Donald Trump. Biden confirmed he will serve as president until his term ends in January 2025.
Sophie McNeill criticized Biden, saying, “Biden’s lasting legacy will be the G@za genocide – how he backed, armed, and funded this horror. The next Democratic nominee must end their support for this criminal war.”
Owen Jones accused Biden of having “the blood of tens of thousands of P@lestinians on his hands,” adding that “Isr@el would never have been able to raze G@za to the ground without him.”
Jeremy Scahill condemned the praise for Biden, recalling the horrors inflicted on P@lestinian children in Gaza, facilitated by US weapons and Biden’s policies.
