Justice For LUMS Student: Update On Case Involving Speeding Underage Driver

In a tragic incident, a student from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Abdul Hadi, was killed on Saturday in a hit-and-run accident. His brother, Abdullah Khan, was also injured in the accident.

The accident occurred in Lahore’s DHA neighborhood. Reports allege the driver, a minor, was speeding and driving recklessly when he collided with the motorcycle carrying the two brothers.

The First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Defence C police station states that a 17-year-old driver fled the scene after the crash, leaving behind his sedan car. The collision destroyed the motorcycle and left Abdul Hadi critically injured.

Unfortunately, he passed away due to his injuries at the hospital. His brother, Abdullah, is reportedly in serious condition.

The incident has sparked outrage online, with many social media users pointing to the driver’s young age and affluent background in DHA. Concerns have been raised about potential leniency due to the driver’s social status.

The suspect is currently on pre-arrest bail until June 14th, when he will be presented in court for further proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.
