After the successful launch of the People’s Bus Service, the Sindh government has now introduced Electric Bus Service.
Sindh government launches electric bus service in Karachi
Announcing the launch on his official Twitter, Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon wrote that the service will start today (Friday) in Karachi along with a clip of the electric buses and the hashtag from his party’s latest political campaign #KarachiForEveryone.

It is indeed a huge achievement for Karachi as it now has Pakistan’s first electric bus service.
As per Sindh Mass Transit Authority, the newly launched buses are charged via solar power and are completely safe for the environment. Plus the fares will be easily affordable for everyone and won’t be expensive.
