Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s latest cover of the hit song Tauba Tauba, calling it a “must-watch.” The Pakistani singer shared his unique rendition of the song on Instagram, where he changed the title to Toba Toba and performed with the Taj Mahal as his backdrop.
However, Karan Aujla, the original artist behind Tauba Tauba, was not as impressed. In response to the cover, Aujla humorously commented, “Uncle na kro, please,” expressing his disapproval with a laughing emoji.
Chahat’s rendition has stirred mixed reactions online, with some users criticizing his off-key singing and altered lyrics. One commenter wrote, “You’ve destroyed the song,” while others found the situation amusing, especially after Aujla’s comment.
