The Fatal Blow: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif Admits That “Pakistan Has Defaulted”

Earlier today, Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, made a shocking that Pakistan has gone bankrupt. The minister made these intense remarks while addressing a ceremony in Sialkot and called Pakistan “an already defaulted” country.

“You may have heard many people talking that Pakistan will go default or a meltdown will take place, but I want to say that Pakistan is not defaulting, it has already happened and we have to stand on our feet”, said Asif.

Politicians speaking out on the recent development

Soon after the statement came out, Twitter has been flooded with criticism and negligence of the incumbent government. Opposing leaders Shireen Mazari and Chaudhry Fawad Hussain also took to the micro-blogging site asking for the reason behind the country’s rapid downfall.
