Khushdil Shah Likely To Replace Injured Saim Ayub For Champions Trophy 2025

In recent news, all-rounder Khushdil Shah is expected to join Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the Champions Trophy 2025, replacing the injured Saim Ayub. Selectors are reportedly impressed by Shah’s stellar performances in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

In the BPL, Shah showcased his all-around prowess with unbeaten innings of 73, 59, 46, and 27 runs, alongside taking 11 wickets in just 8 matches. His consistent form and ability to deliver in crucial moments make him a strong contender for the international stage.

Having already represented Pakistan in 10 ODIs, Shah has contributed 199 runs and claimed 2 wickets. The Champions Trophy, scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025, will be co-hosted by Pakistan and the UAE.
