Two-time Pakistan Super League champions, Lahore Qalandars, are set to participate in the inaugural Global Super League T20 tournament, which will take place from November 26 to December 7 in Guyana. The tournament will feature five teams from various cricketing nations, with a prize pool of $1 million.
Lahore Qalandars will compete alongside teams such as the Guyana Amazon Warriors (Caribbean Premier League), Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh Premier League), and Australia’s Victoria domestic side. Hampshire, potentially under new ownership by the GMR Group, is also rumored to participate.
The tournament will follow a mini-league format, with 11 matches held at the Guyana National Stadium. Each team will play four games, and the top two teams will face off in the final. Organizers hope to make this an annual event, attracting top teams globally.
