Lewis Hamilton secured a historic and emotional victory at the British Grand Prix on Sunday, ending a three-year winless streak. The seven-time champion fought off Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to claim his record-breaking ninth win at Silverstone, surpassing Michael Schumacher’s record for most wins at a single track.
Hamilton displayed masterful tire and race management, finishing 1.465 seconds ahead of Verstappen. This victory marks his 150th podium finish with Mercedes, a team he will be leaving for Ferrari after this season.
The race was a rollercoaster, with changing weather conditions causing strategic battles. Lando Norris initially took the lead but lost it after a pit-stop miscalculation.
